Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She also coaches and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first woman ever to win twice in CrossFit Games. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. Her fame has been built on being the first woman to ever win the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for taking home in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. When she was a kid she was an avid fan of sports and exercise. She participated in many school events and earned several medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir competed in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. Her height is 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California 2009. She did well on her first competitions and finished with the top 10. Although she didn't achieve any title She finished in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. She finished 2nd in CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. Following that she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. She became the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is the only female who has ever won in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal as well as, more recently, in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie was a well-known athlete following her fame. She's worked on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 followers, and she has posted videos of her family, travel and other topics and training-related diets.
